Owen County High School

TJ Wesselman makes a huge positive impact on Owen County High School in his multiple roles as teacher, head football coach, and athletic director. Each season, he leads a district-wide community service initiative called Rebels Outreach, organizing student-athletes into teams that travel throughout the community to assist those in need. He has also taken on the leadership of a full outdoor facilities renovation project—covering football, soccer, track, baseball, and softball—creating upgraded spaces that will serve as a source of pride for decades to come. Inside the gym, he spearheaded the purchase of new scorers tables, scoreboards, and video boards by securing sponsorships across the county and surrounding areas.

His leadership was recently recognized when Owen County achieved Exemplary Status through the NIAAA Quality Program Assessment, and he will be honored at the National Athletic Directors Conference in Tampa.
