Athens Academy

Kevin Petroski has spent more than two decades advancing athletics at Athens Academy and across Georgia, serving as a tireless advocate and respected athletic administrator. As a private school representative on the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) committee, he works hard to ensure schools like Athens Academy have a meaningful voice in statewide decisions, with his impact felt well beyond his own campus. At home, Kevin has helped shape an athletics culture defined by integrity, respect, and strong community, backing that up with clear policies and expectations. Under his leadership, Athens Academy has added an indoor baseball facility, completed a turf field, built a new weight room and wrestling room, replaced tennis courts, and installed video boards in both the football stadium and basketball gym.

His excellence has been recognized with honors including the GADA Dr. Lucia B. Norwood All Classification State Athletic Director of the Year and six Region AD of the Year awards.
