Nathan Flannery works every day to ensure Deerfield’s student-athletes, coaches, and families feel supported, valued, and connected, building a program that reflects the very best of the school and community. He has reshaped the athlete experience by creating consistent recognition and shared traditions, including building the Deerfield Hall of Fame from the ground up and expanding signing day celebrations so every college-bound athlete is honored. Nathan makes equity a priority, giving every sport the same level of branding, media coverage, and visibility, and growing community events like Pink Out and partnerships with the Cancer Wellness Center that bring athletes, families, alumni, and neighbors together around something bigger than wins and losses.

Through modernized communication systems, data-informed decisions, and new resources for leadership and mental wellness, he keeps the focus on service, integrity, and connection—always aiming to make every student-athlete feel truly seen.
