Jon Tomaszewski has focused his career on expanding opportunities for student-athletes, from restarting the Williams Bay football program in 2017 to creating two new high school teams at Omro—Girls JV2 Basketball and JV Softball—the only school in the conference to offer both. He founded the Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT), which drives school spirit and community impact through initiatives like food-drive admissions, BINGO nights that raise money for local organizations, and a student-run school store tied to dress-up themes. Jon has also elevated game-day culture with a Superfan promotion that recognizes respectful, spirited supporters and officials’ thank-you baskets, while modernizing recognition through a digital trophy case and highly engaged athletics social media channels. Working with Adidas and the Booster Club, he has secured regular uniform rotations, new equipment, updated branding, and multiple home tournaments so Omro athletes can showcase their talents in front of their own community.
