University School of Milwaukee

Tim Williams oversees a remarkably broad athletics program at University School of Milwaukee, guiding 26 high school sports with 44 teams and an additional 14 sports and 30 teams at the middle school level. A long-time independent school AD and early adopter of Gipper, he has strengthened the student-athlete experience by launching a coaches mentorship program, creating the Wildcats Lead leadership initiative, and starting a college athlete recognition ceremony that honors graduates continuing their athletic careers. Tim has also expanded the role of the Student Athlete Leadership Team, partnering closely with the arts program to organize community service projects and school-wide celebrations that bring different parts of campus together. Beyond his own school, he has helped raise funds and design a new all-turf baseball field and co-founded two summer conferences—the Athletic Director Training Camp and the ADvance Institute—providing professional development tailored specifically to independent school athletic directors and aspiring leaders.
