New Prague High School

Brad Skogerboe has served as athletic director at New Prague High School for nearly two decades, using tools like Gipper—often 20 hours a week—to consistently recognize and celebrate athletics, fine arts, and student clubs across the school community. Under his leadership, New Prague has expanded opportunities for students by adding Boys and Girls Soccer, Dance Team, Boys Swim & Dive, Boys and Girls Lacrosse, and Boys Volleyball, while annually hosting postseason tournaments in multiple sports that both support smaller schools and drive business for the local community. Brad is a visible presence everywhere—at concerts, drama productions, and contests—so students see that every part of their educational experience matters.

A longtime leader within the Minnesota State High School League and a key organizer of major wrestling events, including the 2016 Cliff Keen Dream Team Wrestling Classic, he brings a lifelong belief that high school activities are one of the most impactful forces in a young person’s development.
