Thomas Callihan is not only the athletic director at Westmont Hilltop School District, but a true community leader who gives of himself constantly. He is a steady presence at every event—regardless of sport or activity—spending countless hours on the field and in the school supporting students and helping many of them stay on track academically so they can grow into upstanding citizens. Thomas is known for treating every group equally, from the football team to the band and the musical, ensuring all students feel seen and supported when they need him.

Beyond his work in athletics, he has served the community as a volunteer fire chief for 18 years, volunteered as an EMT, and continues to serve in local government as a commissioner. Even after retiring from a 34-year teaching career, he has chosen to stay on as athletic director, reflecting his deep commitment to the students and community he serves.
