Herrin High School

Stephanie Allen is the first female athletic director in Herrin High School’s history and is constantly working to elevate Herrin athletics, its student-athletes, and their role in the community. She brings big ideas and a clear sense of how to implement them, focusing on initiatives that make the school a positive force for both athletes and local families. Stephanie has introduced free community events—such as movie nights at the football field and canned food drives to support those affected by the recent federal shutdown—that strengthen connections between the school and the wider community. Known for taking care of not only her own coaches and athletes but also visiting teams, she consistently provides hospitality rooms and even meals for teams that travel to play at Herrin, reflecting her belief in leading with generosity, professionalism, and care.
