Ardrey Kell High School

Jeff Sprenger is an athletic director who has expanded opportunities, championed inclusive sports, and built a community-centered athletic culture at Ardrey Kell High School. Under his leadership, Ardrey Kell has added new programs like men’s volleyball and STUNT, growing to 31 varsity sports—the most in CMS—and giving more students a place to compete and belong. A strong advocate for women’s sports and female coaches, he was the only male inductee into the BSN Surge Hall of Fame and regularly opens AK’s facilities to youth leagues and initiatives like ACES for Autism.

Sprenger’s vision shows up in the details, from transforming hallways into 80-foot athlete murals to improving support for coaches through conference leadership and on-site CPR training, reflecting a leader who pours his energy into making athletics more equitable and inspiring for everyone he serves.
