Nathan King is a tireless leader for Williamsburg CSD, routinely putting in 70-hour weeks as athletic director, head baseball coach, and student council advisor to support students on and off the field. Recognized as the Southeast District Athletic Director of the Year, he has led with a clear focus on equity and opportunity—most notably investing more than $60,000 in wrestling equipment to ensure the launch of girls wrestling in Iowa provided facilities and resources equal to those of the boys’ program. During COVID, Nathan helped build an in-house streaming operation for athletic events that now engages students as announcers and production staff while generating significant revenue through sponsorships. His commitment, versatility, and vision have strengthened Williamsburg’s athletic programs and created lasting benefits for athletes, families, and the wider community.
