BRICE HELTON
Athletic Director
Live Oak Classical School
Brice Helton is being nominated for the Gipper Hall of Fame for the way he has built a truly formative athletics program at a small, classically driven Christian school while keeping “full person development” at the center of his work. His impact is evident in the students who continue to seek him out long after graduation—like a former quarterback who still turns to Brice for guidance on work, life, fatherhood, and faith—and in younger athletes whose behavior, leadership, and humility have been transformed through his steady mentorship. Under his leadership, Live Oak has produced NCAA athletes across multiple sports and graduates who go on to opportunities such as the Air Force Academy, reflecting the depth of character and discipline his programs build. Brice has also guided the school’s transition from six-man to playoff-qualifying 11-man football and expanded offerings to include men’s and women’s varsity soccer and a co-ed junior high team. Grounded in his faith, he leads with quiet integrity, making every student, family, and coach feel seen, valued, and called to something higher than wins and losses.
