Ezell Dodd is being nominated for the way he quietly powers Boyd-Buchanan athletics behind the scenes so coaches can coach and athletes can thrive. He handles everything from pre-game meals, transportation, and equipment needs to game setup and practice space scheduling—including off-campus facilities—so teams have what they need without added stress. Ezell also plays a key role in equity and branding across the department, ensuring that when one sport receives new gear or upgrades, its counterpart gets the same or equal support, and that all programs stay consistently and professionally branded. His commitment extends beyond campus, like personally driving a van from Chattanooga to Syracuse for football recruiting visits. Together with a strong social media presence powered by Gipper graphics and touchscreen displays, Ezell helps elevate every program and athlete at Boyd-Buchanan.
