Anthony Salerno is a trusted leader for Springfield athletics, known for his character, integrity, and relentless commitment to both athletes and coaches. In just a few years, he has raised the standard for the district’s programs—securing more technology for teams, advocating for upgraded facilities, and personally handling the responsibilities of an entire department as a “one-man band,” from administration to sports information. He is a constant presence at school events, banquets, and youth games, actively listening to players, parents, and community members to ensure every program and coach has the support they need to thrive.

As a recent father, Anthony continues to model compassion, sacrifice, and professionalism, quietly putting others first and building an athletic culture where student-athletes are given every opportunity to grow as competitors and as people.
