Delbarton School

Since becoming Athletic Director in 2023, Antonio “Tony” Negrin has helped elevate Delbarton into one of the top athletic programs in the nation, now ranked 9th overall. He has expanded sports performance resources, upgraded facilities and technology, and invested in professional development for coaches, directly improving training quality, athlete safety, and competitive success across all 18 varsity sports. Tony has also unified Delbarton Athletics from middle school through varsity, ensuring every athlete receives consistent support, recognition, and resources while deepening connections among students, families, alumni, and local partners through outreach events and community initiatives.

Known for his big-picture vision and hands-on leadership, he also serves as assistant varsity baseball coach under NJ Hall of Fame coach Bruce Shatel, contributing to the development of standout players such as Jack Leiter and Anthony Volpe.
