Tania Woodard is a dedicated athletic director who pours countless hours into moving Cass Tech athletics forward while centering the whole student, not just the athlete. She organizes mid-season gatherings and three-season all-sports banquets that celebrate every program equally, and she supports her athletes not only in competition, but also in their academics, arts, and extensive community service projects. Committed to equity, she ensures all sports receive fair access to sponsors, fundraising, administrative support, facility space, and away-game opportunities so every team feels seen and valued.

Tania also founded the Athletic Directors Club, giving student leaders hands-on experience in sports management through game day roles, media days, championship support, and engagement with college and professional staff. Though much of her work happens behind the scenes, she continues to give relentlessly—not for recognition, but for her kids.
