Paul Jones is an athletic director who leads with intention, investing deeply in both student-athletes and coaches to elevate every program on campus. He launched the LEAD program, where student-athletes from every sport meet twice a month to discuss leadership strategies and bring those lessons back to their teams, building a shared standard of character and accountability. He also created the real-time Lancer Legend Award, recognizing athletes on the spot for acts that exemplify academics, character, selflessness, resilience, or leadership in front of their teammates.

Beyond the field, Paul strengthens community by cultivating a collaborative coaching culture through preseason summits, monthly meetings, and peer-led professional development, as well as empowering athletes to lead youth camps that connect younger students and families to Sunny Hills athletics. His innovative, all-sport social media presence now serves as a model for the entire district.
