Lemon Bay High - Charlotte County

For more than a decade, Ryan LaVallee has poured himself into Lemon Bay athletics, constantly looking for ways to elevate the student experience and school pride. He personally took over management of the school marquee, using Gipper graphics to keep it updated and vibrant, and regularly shares those visuals with staff to celebrate teams and events across campus. Ryan founded the school’s athletic Hall of Fame to honor past athletes, coaches, and supporters, and is the one organizing last-minute team send-offs so every student who reaches a new level of competition feels the Manta spirit behind them.

Beyond athletics, he volunteers at dances, concerts, and school events to support the entire staff. Hard of hearing yet deeply attentive, he’s known for listening to every person—from a stranger to the superintendent—with the same respect and care.
