Glenn Anderson is a student-centered leader who combines education-based athletics, mental health advocacy, and modern branding to elevate student-athletes across his program. An early adopter of Gipper in Virginia, he has used the platform—along with his school’s in-house message board—to professionally highlight athletes, teams, and achievements, earning greater respect and visibility for his students in the community. Glenn is committed to equity, working to ensure every sport receives fair support in areas like meals, equipment, and uniforms so all programs are treated “the same, with fairness and respect.” A second-generation educator, he brings a unique background that includes 17 years in state and private-sector work, 21 years in the National Guard, and 17 years in education as a teacher, coach, and now nine-year AD—experience that deeply shapes his servant-minded approach to leadership.
