Brad Boresi is being nominated for the Gipper Hall of Fame for the way he has elevated every corner of Coal City’s school community—not just athletics, but fine and performing arts as well. He led a full district-wide rebrand that united all students from Pre-K through 12th grade under the “Coalers” identity, establishing consistent logos, colors, and Gipper-powered graphics that strengthened school pride and visibility.

Brad has also worked closely with the Illinois High School Association to bring state-level events to Coal City, making it one of the top host schools in the state and the top in its class. On campus, he champions student recognition through initiatives like the “Fan of the Game” program and the “Athletes in the Arts” event, where he even performed alongside his student-athletes. Above all, Brad is a passionate steward of his school and community, known for his unwavering support of students, coaches, and colleagues.
