Raymond Garza is being nominated for the Gipper Hall of Fame for his unwavering commitment to building and elevating Iowa Colony High School’s athletic program from the ground up. Since the school opened in 2022, he has played a pivotal role in hiring a full coaching staff across all sports, overseeing equipment procurement, helping design facilities, and implementing operational systems that make game days more efficient and student-centered. He has led the coordination and planning of multiple playoff events across several sports, ensuring athletes enjoy a first-class experience while families and the community benefit from clear communication, safety, and organization.

Raymond also created streamlined digital tools—such as concessions and event-management workflows—that reduce staff workload and support smoother operations across all programs, all while championing equity so every sport, level, and athlete feels valued and supported.
