Doug is a tireless servant leader whose dedication, vision, and commitment to equity and inclusion have transformed Norwalk High School athletics. As Athletic Director, he ensures every student-athlete—from football and swimming to unified sports—is valued and celebrated, a commitment clearly reflected in his social media presence and the culture he fosters across programs.

Beyond athletics, Doug leads with distinction as a teacher, PE/Health Department Chair, and Aquatics Director, balancing an extraordinary schedule while advocating for his students and staff. He serves on multiple state and league committees, demonstrating leadership that extends well beyond his campus. Amid a major school renovation that required sharing off-site facilities for several years, Doug maintained program stability and growth, always putting student-athlete experience first.

Passionate about community, he is deeply involved in the Special Olympics alongside his daughter, exemplifying the same care, dedication, and service he brings to every aspect of his work. Doug’s unwavering commitment, empathy, and leadership have made Norwalk athletics stronger, more inclusive, and more resilient.
