Mike’s dedication to his school, athletes, and community sets a standard for excellence and leadership. He has built the foundation for countless student-athletes to achieve success at the collegiate level and beyond, including producing NFL talent like first-round pick Michael Brockers. His commitment extends beyond the field, encouraging athletes to engage with the community through events, grand openings, and service opportunities.

A versatile coach, Mike has led both men’s and women’s teams to state championships while also supporting band, cheer, and academics, fostering a culture of excellence across the entire school. As a mentor, he has guided numerous coaches who have gone on to become Athletic Directors and head coaches elsewhere, and he has served on the board of the Coaches’ Association, shaping the future of athletics beyond his own school. Mike’s vision, leadership, and dedication have left a lasting impact on his athletes, colleagues, and community.
