Lucas uses Gipper to celebrate every athlete, cheerleader, and dancer in his school, ensuring that every accomplishment is recognized and the entire community feels connected to its student-athletes. His dedication to posting updates, highlights, and successes allows the town to stay engaged and supports a culture where every student feels valued.

Lucas’s impact extends beyond digital recognition. He actively supports athletes in person, sometimes traveling on team buses to ensure students are taken care of and events run smoothly. He celebrates achievements across all programs, from cheerleading and dance—highlighting a recent State championship and runner-up finish—to all athletic teams, reinforcing a culture of equity and inclusion. With 9 years as an assistant football coach and 19 years as head coach, in addition to serving as an assistant track coach, Lucas brings a lifetime of commitment, energy, and leadership to his students and the Bluejays community, inspiring excellence both on and off the field.
