IC Imagine Charter School

Devin Irvin is being nominated for the Gipper Hall of Fame for the way he has built IC Imagine’s K–12 athletics into a vibrant, student-centered program grounded in service and opportunity. As president of the newly founded Blue Ridge Athletic Conference, he helped lead the school into the Carolina Athletic Association for Schools of Choice (CAASC), while also earning recognition such as Teacher of the Month, the Kingfisher “Well Being” Award, and the honor of speaking at graduation. Devin has expanded programming for students of all ages, from intramural cheer and basketball to 3v3 and 5v5 tournaments, camps, and developmental opportunities that give every child a way into athletics.

He also launched an Athletics Parent Committee and Boosters Club, deepening family engagement and shared ownership. Guided by a clear sense of calling to work in education, Devin takes pride in building relationships and creating experiences students will remember for a lifetime.
