Jean LaClair is being nominated for the Gipper Hall of Fame for her decades-long impact as an athletic director, coach, and mentor who has elevated Bronson’s athletes, programs, and community. She has transformed Bronson’s social media presence by using Gipper to create professional, consistent graphics that recognize every sport, athlete, and coach—especially during postseason play—boosting visibility, engagement, and school pride across the district. Her graphics highlight not only wins, but also community partnerships, volunteer work, and school-wide events, reinforcing a culture of inclusion where every contribution is seen and celebrated. A National Coach of the Year in volleyball and recipient of the MHSAA Women in Sports Leadership Award, Jean is also known statewide for championing a multi-sport participation philosophy that puts student growth first. What drives her is a passion for using creativity and technology to give every athlete a voice and strengthen community pride.
