Michael Johnston brings energy, integrity, and a deep commitment to relationships to his role as Athletic Director at Jenison High School, where he has quickly helped build a strong, winning culture for Wildcat athletics. He is known for championing the “Wildcat Way,” setting clear expectations and holding coaches, athletes, and himself accountable so that success is rooted in character as much as performance. Beyond campus, Mike has been invited to present to first-year athletic directors across the state on AD responsibilities, a reflection of the respect he’s earned early in his career.

He has also completed both his Registered Athletic Administrator (RAA) and Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) credentials, underscoring his professionalism and commitment to the field. Those who know him best point to his energy and genuine love for working with coaches and athletes as the foundation of his impact.
