In his first year at Berea Midpark—but fourteenth as an athletic director—Ryan Kelber has focused on one core mission: making sure every student-athlete feels seen, valued, and supported. He uses platforms like Gipper to consistently highlight athletes’ achievements, sharing positive stories with the school community and beyond while promoting teamwork, participation, and pride in the program.

Ryan is intentional about equity, ensuring that all teams—boys and girls, large and small—receive the same level of recognition, from athletic and academic accomplishments to acts of service. More than a scheduler of games and officials, he is a visible presence at events and a relationship-builder on campus, using both in-person support and social media storytelling to put students at the center of everything he does.
