JEN BROOKS
Athletic Director
Ursuline Academy
For more than three decades, Jen has dedicated her career to creating spaces where girls are seen, valued, and elevated in every sport — work that has transformed programs and strengthened opportunities for women in athletics nationwide. She founded the Global Community of Women in High School Sports, the first and only national network supporting women in the profession, building from scratch a powerful movement that now provides mentorship, leadership development, and essential support to coaches and athletic leaders across the country.
On her own campus, Jen has redefined what a connected and empowering athletic culture can look like through initiatives such as the Student Athletic Advisory Council and Athletic Apostles, programs that intentionally grow confidence, leadership, and student voice. A trailblazer who spent much of her career as the only woman in the room, she became the mentor and community-builder she never had, ensuring that the next generation of girls and women no longer face those same barriers alone. Her legacy lives in the athletes who found their confidence, the coaches who finally felt supported, and the women who now know they belong — a testament to a career grounded not in recognition, but in impact that continues to ripple far beyond her own school.
