Coach Epps is the heartbeat of the MDS athletic community, supporting every program with energy, creativity, and a deep commitment to celebrating student-athletes. He created the beloved “Monty’s” Awards Show, an ESPY-style event that brings the entire school together to honor the accomplishments of the athletic year and strengthen the sense of pride across campus. Coach Epps ensures that every sport is recognized through consistent social media visibility, and he has revived the cherished tradition of ringing the victory bell after each win—reminding athletes and families that every success matters. As a leader, he fosters collaboration and community among the coaching staff, building an environment rooted in shared purpose and support. A dedicated young father and husband, Coach Epps still manages every detail of the athletic program—from keeping score to working the gate—proving daily that he is all-in for his students, his colleagues, and the MDS community.
