Coach Seth Parr is a visionary leader who transformed Anna High School by modernizing its identity, unifying a rapidly growing community, and delivering the school’s first-ever State Championship through a culture that proves branding and belief win games. Taking over a program that hadn’t claimed a district title since 1981, he reshaped the athletic mindset in just three seasons, leading Anna to a 14-1 record and the 2023 4A Division I State Championship while mentoring his staff in the family-centered coaching legacy he learned from his father. Coach Parr’s “One Team” philosophy extends far beyond football—he mobilized students to host the Regional Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament, integrated Fine Arts and CTE programs as equal partners in game-day production, and launched Coyote Vision, a student-led media program that equips students with real-world skills while elevating school spirit to collegiate levels. His perseverance, statewide recognition as the 2023 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 4A Coach of the Year, and unwavering belief in the potential of Anna ISD have turned a once-overlooked program into a powerhouse and a point of pride for the entire community.
