For 25 years, Jason has dedicated himself to creating positive, lasting memories in high school athletics. He spent 18 years as Columbia High School’s Head Football Coach, becoming the all-time winningest coach in school history, leading the team to three undefeated seasons, eight league titles, and 13 playoff appearances, and earning Ohio Coach of the Year honors in 2022. Currently in his third year as Athletic Director, Jason has implemented an in-school strength and conditioning program and digitized athletic operations, making sports more accessible and balanced for students and families alike.

Guided by his motto, “If you can help, help,” Jason fosters teamwork, selflessness, and lifelong lessons across all sports. A longtime Freshman English teacher, he has made Columbia Local Schools a central part of his family’s life for over 20 years, with his children cheering for the teams and his wife teaching first grade. His leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to both athletics and community have left an indelible mark on Columbia High School.
