Daunte is dedicated to connecting with all students, whether they participate in athletics or other school activities, fostering a sense of belonging and community. Last year, when administrative support at athletic events was limited, he personally attended over 150 contests, and this year he has taken on dual roles as Athletic Director and Trainer, ensuring every event runs smoothly. His commitment extends beyond athletics, recognizing and celebrating students from all academic departments to build pride across the school.
Daunte has created initiatives that strengthen community and equity, including hosting the first NW Oregon Conference Equity and Inclusion Summit and establishing a conference Officials Appreciation Coin event. He has developed inclusive high school events for middle school athletes, actively manages conference leadership roles, and consistently highlights achievements through social media. Known for his hands-on approach and personal investment in students, Daunteβs leadership fosters connection, recognition, and pride across the entire school community.
