Bob exemplifies dedication through his attention to the small yet impactful details that make a difference for student-athletes. Over his 36-year coaching career—including 25 years as head coach of the girls basketball team and 11 as an assistant—he has mentored countless first-year coaches and helped them grow. He fosters a supportive community, as demonstrated when the women’s basketball team attended the service of a teammate’s grandmother, outnumbering the family to show care and solidarity. Always willing to step in, Bob has gone above and beyond, from preparing unlined turf for homecoming football games to ensuring every aspect of athletics runs smoothly, embodying leadership through service and commitment.
