Coach Featherston is not only an exceptional football coach and athletic director but also a remarkable human being whose care for students and the community defines his leadership. He consistently goes above and beyond, personally checking in on students facing academic or emotional challenges and ensuring they have the support needed to thrive both on and off the field. Through mentoring young coaches and fostering a culture of pride, integrity, and excellence, he has elevated every athletic program while strengthening the broader school community. Coach Featherston celebrates all achievements, builds meaningful relationships with families and stakeholders, and leads with vision—leveraging new technology and community resources to create opportunities far beyond what a small district typically offers.
