Scott Allen is being nominated for his hard-working, student-centered leadership and hands-on commitment to every program at Eureka High School. In a landscape where larger sports can overshadow others, he has prioritized track by adding staff, improving equipment and facilities, and routinely showing up to help with setup and maintenance—whether setting cones or cleaning the discus ring. He also looks after students in the day-to-day moments that reveal real care, ensuring athletes are supported and never left to navigate challenges alone.

Drawing on experience as a former collegiate coach, longtime high school coach, and parent of student-athletes, he communicates consistently, values every coach, and works to make sure each program has what it needs to thrive—an approach many describe as “second to none.”
