Ben Hageman is being nominated for his genuine, hard-working leadership and the consistent difference he makes for student-athletes across the Oak Hills community. He has championed education-based athletics in a way that has helped strengthen the district’s overall Athletics GPA year over year, reinforcing that performance in the classroom matters as much as success in competition. During his tenure, he has also revitalized campus facilities and elevated the culture by creating and enforcing athletic-wide core expectations and values.

Through initiatives like the Captains Council, he has built a structure that empowers team leaders to align on standards, accountability, and program pride. A Navy veteran and former college athlete, Hageman leads with humility, shows up early, listens well, and consistently puts students first.
