JASON CORLEY

District Athletics

Long Branch Athletics

Jason Corley is being nominated for more than 16 years of student-first leadership that has strengthened equity, academics, and school pride across Long Branch athletics. He built clearer academic support structures for student-athletes—including coordinated SAP/study hall, teacher progress checks, and consistent eligibility expectations—helping more students stay eligible and engaged. He has also prioritized fair access and visibility for every team, using digital and social spotlights and advocating for resources so that high-profile and emerging programs feel equally valued. A pioneer in his district, Corley is the first Black athletic director in Long Branch history and has earned Athletic Director of the Year honors three times from different associations, most recently being named the DAANJ Sectional AD of the Year. His work reflects a steady belief that every sport and every student matter.
