Tyler has not only built a championship-caliber basketball program but has also elevated the entire Stone Ridge athletics ecosystem through exceptional organization, communication, and an unwavering student-first vision. Under his leadership, the basketball program has achieved sustained success—four playoff runs, back-to-back section titles, two NorCal Final Fours, and national tournament appearances in Texas and Florida—while simultaneously becoming a pillar of service through community outreach projects like the annual turkey drive and upcoming coat drive. Tyler’s collaborative approach has strengthened the culture across all sports, as he works closely with coaches to establish shared expectations, unified values, and consistent standards that foster trust and connection among athletes, teachers, and families. His commitment to providing extraordinary opportunities—such as securing national travel experiences that offer exposure and competition far beyond what most small schools can provide—reflects his belief that student-athletes deserve the very best. Drawing on his championship experience from Clovis West, Tyler introduced sophisticated systems and developmental frameworks that propelled Stone Ridge from a Division 6 program to a Division 4 contender in just a few seasons, an unprecedented leap that showcases his strategic vision and ability to transform a program holistically.
