Scarlett Taylor – Match MVP – Sophomore setter Scarlett Taylor delivered a commanding performance with 35 assists, 14 digs, 3 blocks, and 5 aces, earning the title of Match MVP. Her leadership and poise were instrumental in orchestrating the Gators’ offensive surge during the comeback.

Madison Simmons – Libero & Defensive Anchor – Sophomore libero Madison Simmons tallied 21 digs and served 10 consecutive points in the deciding set, sparking Green Level’s momentum and providing the defensive stability that anchored the team throughout the match.

Lindley Miller – Senior Outside HitterVeteran hitter Lindley Miller contributed 14 kills, 7 digs, and 2 blocks, using her experience and precision to swing the momentum in the Gators’ favor during the final three sets.

Team Resilience – Reverse Sweep Victory – After falling behind two sets to none, Green Level showed championship grit to extend the match in the third set, followed by a dominant 25-9 win in the fourth set and closing the door with a decisive 15-10 fifth set. The reverse sweep sealed a perfect season and a spot in school history.

Coaching & Program Impact – Under the direction of Head Coach Alston Godbold, the Gators completed an undefeated campaign built on teamwork, discipline, and relentless energy. The win marks Green Level’s first-ever 8A state championship in volleyball and cements the program as a powerhouse in North Carolina high school athletics. Green Level Volleyball previously won an NCHSAA 4A State Championship in 2021.
