Andrea Dula

Andrea Dula is from Raleigh, NC and graduated from Meredith College with a major in Dance Education as well as a K-12 teaching licensure. She has danced for seventeen years and is trained in modern, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, liturgical, and jazz. She served as a full company member of both the Meredith Dance Theater Company and the Meredith Jazz and Tap Company.

Dula has choreographed numerous works at Meredith College and her passion for choreography stems from the contrast between modern funk and contemporary dance. She also focuses on the B.J. Sullivan safety release technique which she learned from Courtney White. She has also been awarded with the best choreography and best performance while attending Meredith College.

Dula has been a guest artist for numerous schools in Wake County, including Enloe High School as well as Leesville Road Middle. She is also still performing and training currently as she is a full company member of the Nine Movement Collective Dance Company created by Chania Wilson. Andrea Dula is super excited about starting the new school year at Green Level High School and can’t wait to meet you all and dance with you!
