Anna Jarnagin

Anna Jarnagin grew up in Wilmington, NC and graduated from New Hanover High School. After playing competitive soccer for ten years, she picked up a lacrosse stick in 7th grade and was immediately hooked. While at New Hanover, Coach Jarnagin played on the varsity lacrosse team for four years and was named captain her junior and senior year. Jarnagin was named an “all-conference” player all four years of high school. In addition, she played competitive club lacrosse and helped guide her club team to many championships at tournaments. In high school, she was an assistant coach for recreational lacrosse teams throughout the summer.

Coach Jarnagin graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2021 where she competed on the club lacrosse team and started her varsity coaching career. She was the head coach of Carrboro High School’s Varsity lacrosse team for three seasons, helping the school grow their program. Jarnagin graduated from NC State with a Master’s in Teaching and began teaching Biology and Earth and Environmental Science at Green Level.

Coach Jarnagin is excited to get back into coaching after taking a short break. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, being outside, and spending time with friends and family.
