Megan Mansy
Megan attended Cosby High School in Midlothian, VA, where she was an 8-time state champion and a multiple All-State performer in both track and cross country. She was a Foot Locker Nationals cross country finalist representing the South Region her senior year. During her senior year of track, she won the Gatorade Track Performer of the Year for the state of Virginia. She found her way to Raleigh after being recruited by NC State.
At NC State, she was a 4-time NCAA 1st Team All-American, 5-time All-ACC performer, 2-time All-NCAA Southeast Region cross country performer, an ACC champion in the 1500, and an ACC runner-up in the 5k. While a member of the cross country team at NC State, the womenβs team placed 5th and 4th at the 2015 and 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championships.From 2017 to 2020, Megan had the opportunity to run professionally for HOKA and joined the NJNY Track Club in Westchester County, NY.
During her professional stint, she qualified for multiple US indoor and outdoor championships in the 1500 and Mile. Her lifetime personal bests include: 800m: 2:03, 1500m: 4:08, Mile: 4:31, 3000m: 8:54, and 5000m: 16:33.In 2021, Megan started coaching high school track and cross country with her husband, Michael, at Cary Christian School. At Cary Christian, they coached multiple NCISAA state champions and All-State performers. In cross country, they coached the womenβs program to 2 NCISAA cross country state titles (2022 & 2023) and the mens' team to a NCISAA state title (2024).
Megan joined Green level as a head distance coach in fall of 2024. She, her husband Michael, and their son Maverick live in Raleigh, NC.
