Taryn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire and earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. 

Taryn has worked in the high school setting as an athletic trainer since 2010 and also serves as the public relations committee chair for the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association.  She teaches Sports Medicine I-IV at GLHS in the Healthful Living Department.  

Taryn is originally from Maine and has called North Carolina home since 2008.  She was a high school and collegiate athlete and enjoys spending time outdoors and reading in her free time.
