Mr. Connett joined the Green Level Athletic Department in 2022, as the Public Address Announcer. Along with being the voice behind the microphone at sporting events at The Swamp, Rob is also the Sports Information Director, which means he is creating social media updates and graphics, writing updates for the athletics department website, and hosting our podcast.

Connett comes from his home state of Indiana, where he grew up, and started announcing sports when he was in high school. He attended Ball State University, majoring in telecommunications and journalism. He spent more than 15 years working in radio, before he became a full-time teacher, and is now teaching communications and media here at Green Level!

Rob is also the PA announcer for the football team at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
