Ava Toppin

Ava Toppin made a lasting mark on Green Level High School volleyball as a dynamic outside hitter and reliable team leader. From the moment she stepped onto the varsity court, Ava’s presence was undeniable—her combination of athleticism, competitive drive, and technical skill quickly set her apart.

Throughout her career at Green Level, Ava was a consistent offensive force, amassing over 700 career kills while maintaining an impressive .280 hitting percentage.

She balanced her scoring ability with all-around play, tallying more than 400 digs and serving as a dependable six-rotation player. Her versatility and endurance made her one of the most impactful players in the program’s history.

Ava’s leadership extended beyond statistics. She played a pivotal role in guiding Green Level to multiple deep postseason runs, including a state championship victory. Her ability to perform in big moments—whether delivering a clutch kill late in a playoff match or rallying her teammates with her energy—helped define the Gators’ competitive identity.

Individually, Ava earned recognition across the region and state. She was named to the All-Conference Team multiple times, selected for the NCHSAA All-State roster, and earned Conference Player of the Year honors in her senior season. She was also named an All-American during her senior year.

Beyond the accolades, Ava’s influence was felt in her role as a mentor and motivator. Younger players looked up to her not only for her skill but also for her work ethic and commitment to the team’s success. Her legacy at Green Level is one of excellence, resilience, and leadership—qualities that made her one of the school’s most celebrated volleyball players.
