When Alexa graduated from Green Level High School in 2023, she left as one of the fastest females in school history. She was a versatile athlete for the Gators, specializing in sprints and hurdles.

She constantly pushed herself to get better throughout her career at The Swamp, improving her times in the 100m hurdles, going from 15.30 in her early years, to a 14.20 her senior year. Alexa also spent time competing in the long jump, constantly racking up a distance in the 17-foot range.

Nestor claimed multiple all-conference and all-region awards in her career. In 2022, she was selected to the All-State 3rd-Team, after finishing fifth in the 300m hurdles at the NCHSAA 4A State Championships.

Alexa is now running for Kent State University, competing in hurdles for both the indoor and outdoor track & field teams.
