• 1977: All State, All Area, All Conference

• Went on to play at the University of Michigan where he was a captain in 1981 & 1982 as a LB

• Selected second-team All-Big Ten in 1981, named All-Big Ten first-team in 1982 & first-team Academic All-American

• Drafted by the Houston Oilers in the 8th round of the 1983 NFL Draft

• Signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before finishing his NFL career with the Detroit Lions

• Recorded 2 sacks and 3 fumble recoveries in his NFL career
