• 1972: Football - All State, All-Area, All-Conference

• Went on to play at the University of Michigan where he was a 1st team All-American in 1976

• Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 3rd round in the 1977 NFL Draft

• 2x Super Bowl Champion

• Scored 25 touchdowns in the NFL with the Steelers from 1977-1983

• Went on to join the Birmingham Stallions in the USFL as the highest paid WR in professional football
