Athletic Training

Tangela McCorkle, our Certified Athletic Trainer, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training at Valdosta State University. She also interned with the Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri as the head athletic trainer for their track and field team. Following undergraduate school, she attended Austin Peay State University where she earned a Masters of Science degree in Health and Human Performance as a graduate assistant. She worked for Georgia Rehabilitation Center in Newnan, Georgia as an outreach athletic trainer for Sandy Creek High School. She has been at Chattahoochee High School since January of 2006. After the completion of a Masters in Teaching she began teaching Healthcare science for Chattahoochee as well
