Outstanding Team)

The 2002 Cross Country season was memorable.  The team finished 2nd in the Corn Belt Conference, with Jill, Tiffany and Christa finishing in the top 10.  Olympia closed the gap to 2 points and finished 2nd at the IHSA Regional.  At the IHSA Sectional, Olympia put 4 runners in the top 15 to win by 8 points.  The following week at State, team-members placed 14th, 15th, 24th, 29th, and 97th for a 2nd place finish in the State in Class 1A.
